1) A drawing session with Tony Ryder. His drawings and paintings are magnificent. It was very cool to see him work and have him critique our drawings.

2) A painting demo with Mary Whyte. Mary is one of my favorite watercolor artists and a sincerely inspiring person. Not only did she demo, but she also gave a talk titled "Creating Your Best Paintings Ever" and was part of a group panel discussion on "The Business Side of Art".

The Mary Whyte demo is fabulous. Her rendering of the skin is luminous. And the texture of the hat. Just wow!
I could read about your 4 fun filled days on and on. It just sounds so exciting to see these very talented people in action. Thanks for sharing a part of this with us.
Thanks for sharing about your experiences at the conference. I can imagine how inspired you must after talking to, watching, learning from all those greats...I like the sketch of the model too.
